Understanding the Challenge
Tischlerei Samuel Becker relied heavily on custom commissions and word-of-mouth referrals, limiting scalability and market visibility. Without a physical showroom or digital sales channel, the brand lacked presence and independence. The challenge was to create a simple, low-maintenance e-commerce solution that would reduce dependency on individual orders while strengthening brand recognition and driving sustainable revenue growth.
The Approach
Based on user research, it became clear that purchasing decisions in the furniture sector are primarily driven by design and craftsmanship quality. Transparency in the production process and a clear presentation of materials further build trust.
The strategy focused on developing a clean, structured online shop that highlights craftsmanship, customization options, and product quality. A reduced design language, calm photography, and strong typography (Bebas Neue for impactful headlines, Open Sans for clarity and readability) reinforced the brand’s identity while guiding users through a seamless purchase journey.
